OMG~! sad story on our side but really good news on BM side! this totally owns us. I don't know if Wizet will still plan on giving us some boost. it's really clear here no matter how high the damage is (or Damage Range) the way BM kills still really fast... Can some enlighten me with some CONS related to BM, they are seems to be godly??? I need my XBM's pride back ><

Awwww whinnings... nomatter what Bowmans in general owns. SoA is so ubber strong that almost all bosses can be killed with just a mare knockback >.<

Phoenix no crit

IK, I can safely say (about 90%) that Bow Masters Phoenix does NOT crit. In this GOM video you'll see a Bow Master with Phoenix out; you will see tons of clear shot from the bird but sadly I can't find any critical damage. With 40% + a few from Sharp Eyes the critical rate is high enough, I am sure if the bird does crit we will be able to see it after 10 or so clear strikes from the mob.

Remember the post about Bowmaster killing (and owning) the Red Dragon boss? well it's Crossbowmaster's turn to the pie~! defenitly hard time for us T_T but oh well~ the Bowmaster is way high level compared to this Crossbow Master and damage is faily same (regards to the speed of SoA). All in all it looks fun, can't wait to get my hands on this boss~ I just wish Wizet will make some changes on skills so that they are more usefull in boss fights.

Here's a video of a Crossbow Master. He's a level 134 and the damage is decent compared to the level 155 Bow Master. The convinience of training is really promissing compared to other class. with Eagle acting as auto freezer backed up with Blizzard! Other noted skills are Critical Hope, and Crossbow Experties, this skills really brings the damage up. Crossbow Master looks promissing and I can't wait to get my hands with it.

Hmmm... what about the other Crossbow Master only skill >.> He does have one in his Skill Book... why is he not using it? are they really that useless or he's really just not using it ><, I've seen some screenshot he did and its doing a great damage... Can't wait until he showcase all the skills.

Real Life Bow Master

I saw this video from ipop (it's a GOM movie again), this video is about a Bow Master in a kMS main server (not Tespia). She is a level 155 (not those crazy level 195 in Tespia server), also, probably she has a good set of equipments since she's at a good level.

In this movie you can see the full effect of Storm of Arrows and Dragon Pulse. SoA is not so powerful in real life application in my opinion, it is very fast and can kill fast but it has a little trouble handling mobs, since the knock back rate is low. Now about Dragon Pulse, yes it's very effective but it doesn't bend adn the vertical reach is not big, in one part of the movie she got owned using pulse.

After seeing this video, it looks more balance now with other class. it seems alot of people got fooled with those level 195 Tespia testers. I am still a big fan of Crossbowmasters, The comfort is probably the best (with Blizzard and Ice Eagle doing some mob control add Puppet and Dragon Pulse and Blind doing some back up support).

Current translation is Intensify, I think based on my noobish translation skill it adds 26 atk and -50 MP consumption? at max it has a cool down time. In this movies, we will also see the full buff (new icons aswell) of Storm of Arrows and wow it's good

New Crossbow Master Skill!

Ok new updates for 4th job!!! I know your dying to see more!

I still need to translate the new skill. Crossbow Master get a new upgraded Eagle (looks like Phoenix but ice element). So far it does nothing but attack and it GOES TROUGH ENEMIES not like the current Eagle that only stuns one monster. Some people said to me that it will probably add a freeze element into it and more damage since the current damage doesn't match the godly damage of other 4th job skill.

I'm expecting Bow Masters to get a completely opposite of Crossbow Masters. (probably a fire version) Stay tune they will release it soon probably.

-It seems that they uped the Damage % of Dragon Soul
-Spear Rush has a different animation now and it pushes the enemy far from the body of the caster (check above vids)
-Night Lord gets a skill similar to Soul Arrow. GOOD BYE CHARGE (check main blog for video)
-Shadower has a poison mist type of skill, This is actually Smoke Bomb, you wont get hit while inside the smoke screen.
-Arch Mages has a new summon skill, it does splash damage, Ice summon for F/P and Fire summon for I/L
-Bishop got the new red dragon - holy dragon (big red dragon, as big as the arch mages summon).
-Hero has a Sword rush, simillar to Spear rush.
-Stance or hard skin(?) got an animation now
-Bowman gets another mastery

hmmm... OK as promised, this is only a test run. Since I really can't rip the video, this is the closes as I can get (for those who don't know the story check the main blog area). To run this video you need to have a GOM player (Google it). GOM player is a decent player overall, and can be used in many ways (got good sets of codec!) so I recommend you to get one for your computer.

If for some reason you still can't get the file working. install the plug-in that will promp upon viewing the movie. REMEMBER I CAN'T VIEW THE VIDEO ON FIREFOX! which SUCK big time.

Skill real life application: Storm of Arrows

Papi is going down!

Ok, I decided to put this in the Bowman video section because it has 2 bowmans present in it and as you can see the application of Storm of Arrows in boss battles (aswell as Critical Hope I guess). Also in this video you can see Spear Rush, it can push even bosses! Godly!. The walk while Storming is kinda effective if you observe very closely (or just latency).

The video ends after the boss battle, but the maker decided to continue until the second song finished. so if you see the cast then thats the end, no more additional shots after that.

Btw, Storm of Arrows didn't get nerfed, I can still see it as a very fast skill.

So your dying to see more Hurricane/Storm (not final name)? well, you've come to the right place, I got a box full of it. Watch how uber Hurricane is and I have a feeling that it will get nerfed because it's owns anything, or has the potential! If not Ranger might be a good class to invest in the future.

I had a feeling that there was a delay time in casting this skill but it turns out it fires like Strafe! even more its much faster! Also it curves! it's not like Iron Arrow it can target up and down! OMG~! OWNAGE.

You'll also have a glimpse of the new DRAGON PULSE. YES it KNOCKS BACK like POWER KNOCK BACK. so this time it's for real, you can do kill those pesky nubs

Now lets wait for Snipers skill set, Someone told me that Snipers get the charge up but it has a chance of doing 1 hit k.o. (like Mortal Blows). Although this is not confirmed so its better for us to wait, I'm hoping that we might get something stonger.

Sniper Level 112 @ Beemee & Meebee

Here's a new video of Reprey (not final name), the map is fairly good for Bowmans. There are only 2 type of enemy in this map - Meebee and Beemee, they are somewhat annoying because they stun and move fast. The map layout is not bad for Bowmans who uses Puppet, but it need to be high level for it to stay longer and survive longer. The map also has alot of slanting floors which is kinda bad when your head up and there's and enemy above you.

Definitely a good place as an alternative grinding spot when feeling ultra bored, but it seems that the Centaur's area are more better.

Sniper Level 119 in "How to Mob Gobies"

I find this video some what funny. You see a Warrior need to have a Priest to Doom all those Gobie House to be able to mob them efficiently and that takes alot of time. In this Video this shows how a Bowman can easily get a mob, the answer is Puppet.

The trick is, leave all the Gobie Houses at a critical HP level, to do this just count how many Strafe you need to be able to destroy the house. When all the houses are in critcal level, then destroy them one at a time and fast. When the Gobies form the house are out just move a way really fast and they will scramble around the map. Gather all of them later when Gobies are out (by getting close when), then fire away~

Ranger Level 122 @ Icy Dragon Mountain

OK, I don't have any idea what the name of that place is hehe, This map, I think is part of Riprey (or whatever the right name for it), it is probably pass the Dragon's Forest (again whatever the name is, lol). Nothing much to say to this, the map is 70% good w/o too much hustle but lack sniping spots, that's why the Silver Hawk and Golden Eagle will work good in this place.

Maxing the birds will probably be a good option now a days; one, I'm assuming that when you use Storm of Arrow you wont be able to move so that means you might need extra support. two, charge up skills, you also need support and longer enemy hold.

I have no idea (again) on the name of that egg like monster. All i know is it gives a womping 8050 exp! (insoya.com), that's pretty high for a monster you can kill conveniently, plus they dont move much and ultra slow, the bad thing is they do Magic Attack (no dodge).

Gobbies Video Guide for Snipers

Another video guide for Bowmans. This training spot is good for level 90 and 100+. Sniper got th most convinient spot here because of Blizzard but, it doesn't mean Rangers can't do it, Puppet and Arrow Rain also works without any problem.

In the video the Sniper's level is 120. Gobbie house doesn't give any exp. but once it's destoryed it will spawn the Gobbies it self. With rather small HP and huge exp. this place is really good with Bowmans that have a max Arrow Rain and Erruption.

First of all, everything here is in currently on test in kMS Tespia Server, simple put, everything is not final; may and may not be included in the final patch. just pray that they include it.

About the movie. this link was given to me by a friend in school, I think he can read Korean not so sure. we are not close I just recently met him in one of our class. a nice guy I should say. 2 movies are presented, this movies are movie of Hermit and not of a Bowman but in the 2nd movie he partied a Bowman (Sniper) with a Critical Hope.

THINGS TO CONSIDER
1st the monster in the first video are probably high defense seeing that they are turtle like but, they are significantly low leveled than the one in the second movie (w/ critical hope) which are 100-105 level range. what this means is the boost of attack is really good seeing how they pwn those high leveled. (i can't find the stats for those bastards)

2nd the equipment of the Hermit, I am not sure about if the sin changed his equip, but what I know is this two videos are posted right next to each other, the probability of having the same equip is high, plus look at the avatar.

3rd Maple Hero, does this skill stacks up?

See the tactic here?, You mob the monster then set a Puppet then as you retreat back you use Arrow Rain. this is a very good and efficient use of Arrow Rain for additional damage.
